Ken Sosa, from the Sounds of Sosa came and performed with us for the July Resident Birthdays. He was so engaging with the Villa Serena Residents. He took personal requests, sung their all-time favorite ballads, and slow danced with the ladies. His enthusiasm and beautiful vocal timbre was contagious. The residents just loved him!!

Fourth of July this year was a spectacular success. Lauren Hansen (Activity Director) at Villa Serena, accompanied by Brian Watson, a local professional, sung along with a cd of The Boston Pops Orchestra. In addition, Brian Watson provided a historical depiction of the patriotic musical arrangements performed. At the conclusion of the program, the Villa Serena Residents sung along with the performers.

 

 

This was Villa Serena's very first Silent Auction. It was a tremendous success!! Over 30 residents attended the event with over 50 prizes to offer.
