BINGO with Rose.

 

We play Bingo with Rose every

Sunday and Wednesday at 6:15 in the

Villa Serena activity room. 

 

We have the best Bingo announcer, Kathy, Getrudes's daughter.

We are so thankful that she volunteers her talents to us.

 

Everyone knows how to play Bingo, but not like our residents. We play high-stakes Bingo with dimes and the last game of blackout with a jack-pot of   $20!

Seniorcize with Ann: Are You Ready to Dance?

The class with elastic bands.

Seniorcize with Ann is a chair exercise class that is held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:15am in the Activity Room at Villa Serena.

This class is led by one of our very own residents, Ann! Ann put together a 30 minute exercise routine involving stretching, dancing and the use of elastic bands. The entire routine is synchronized with music from The Glenn Miller Orchestra and Benny Goodman.

 Before every class is about to begin Ann asks the participants, “Are we ready to dance?”

 

 

Wear RED on Fridays

 

Every Friday Villa Serena residents wear red clothing to support our troops.

Our ladies looking lovely dressed in red supporting the cause.

Wear a little bit of red or wear a lot, every little bit counts.

Our residents also receive activity bucks when they participate. The money they earn goes towards the end of the month resident auction. A $100 bucks for wearing red, that's easy money!





September Birthday Celebration

Villa Serena celebrated its September Birthdays this past Saturday at dinner. The entire dinning room sang Happy Birthday to Felicia Coggin, Bill Christian and Carmen Saad. Our special performer, David, from Wine Country Productions played around the dinning room during dinner.

 

Felicia had her family and friends with her at dinner at her table.
