Happy Chinese New Year!

We leared some Chinese symbols and made red envelopes in crafts class to give to every resident to celebrate

Chinese New Year!

 We made enough for everyone!

 

 Everyone received a Villa Serena Auction Buck in their envelopes and a guide to see what the symbol they had on their envelope.

 

 

Some of our residents were out on the Casino trip to Sanoma County's Granton Casino Resort. They all received a LUCK or PROSPERITY envelope, I hope they come home with more then they left with.

It’s Winter

 

The leaves make a rustling sound

As they blow across my patio

The raindrops glisten as they hit the ground

The wind whistles for all to know

It’s Winter

The cold seems to chill us through

Though warm clothes we wear

Our feet and fingers tingle too

But knowledge we all share

 

It’s Winter

We clap our hands to keep them warm

And maybe stomp our feet

Our heads we cover to keep heat in

And hot beverages entreat

It’s Winter

Though rain and snow may come our way

And the cold winds blow

One things stands our in all our minds

For surely we do know

It’s Winter
